This is a huge lesser known Soul-Jazz record - if you haven't come across Carlos Garnett's LP's you're in for a treat. Head for "Mystery of Ages" for the full effect, but my favourite is "Wise Old Men". Beautifully done reissue of this Soul-jazz essential.
